Disability Access Policy

The main Lichfield surgery has 4 dedicated parking spaces which share a lowered pavement for easy access for people who use wheelchairs. We have an automatic front door, a lowered section in our reception desk, a hearing loop at reception and a ground floor toilet for people with disabilities. We have signs in colour to aid people with vision impairments.

At the branch surgery in Whittington Inside our branch surgery we have all the features above plus Braille on our tactile signs.

Blue Badge Scheme

The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go.

Blind/partially sighted

If you or your family members are blind or partially sighted we can give you a CD or large print of our Practice leaflet upon request. Please ask our staff for further information.
