The GMS/PMS regulations 2015/16 require GP practices to offer online access to detailed coded information in GP records, where requested by the patient and where GPSoC approved systems are available, by 31 March 2016.
This practice therefore plans to offer the facility for patients to view online, export or print detailed coded information held in their own records by 31st March 2016. These dates are subject to the necessary NHS GP systems and software being available to the practice.
Types of coded data available to patients will include:
- Allergies/Adverse reactions
- Medication (dose, quantity and last issued date)
- Results (numerical values and normal range)
- Codes showing referral made or letters received (no attachments)
We will publicise and promote our online services to our practice’s patients through the practice website, practice waiting room leaflets, posters and the Virtual Patient Participation Group but for more information please click here.
